Attention Venture Crew Members who went to Maine - Our service project to get the 50 Miler award from the Maine trip begins this Sunday the 28th at 9:00 at the Webb Mountain Discovery Zone.

Activity Consent Form

The 2014 - 2015 activity consent form is now available in the "Troop Family Guide & Forms" section of the website.  A signed consent form is required in order to participate in troop activities.  Please fill out and bring to this weekend's campout, or the next scout meeting.

September 7th, First Troop Meeting and Parent Meeting

Sunday, September 7, 2014, 4:30pm, St Jude is the first troop meeting of the new scout year. There will also be a parent meeting. Welcome back scouts and parents.

There will be a PLC Meeting the same day before the troop meeting, starting at 3:00PM 

Volunteer help for the St Jude Italian Festival 8/30 thru 8/23

The Tripodi family will be handling soda, recycling and trash at the festival, any help you can offer will be greatly appreciated. Volunteer time at the festival can be used for either Scout advancement service hours or Masuk High School community service hours.The work is multiple short shifts during the evening so you can work and enjoy the festival on the same night. Scouts will be working independently so Scout volunteers must be high school age, or younger scouts accompanied by an adult. Any volunteer 18 or older must be in compliance with the diocese Safe Environments policy.  A Safe Environments training is offered on August 9th, contact the parish office to sign up for Safe Environments.

2014 Camp Sikorsky Sept 19-21 Troop Registration Open

Camp Sikorsky 2014 to be held September 19-21, 2014. Signup is limited to 8 scouts and 2 adults. One adult must be a leader. Youth must be 14 years of age and at least First Class. We have received approval from CYC for scouts slightly younger than 14 to attend. This approval is dependent on 2 troop leaders attending and if space is available. Boys should register as usual on the troop website. During the weekend you will be able to see Blackhawk Helicopters, tour the office of Igor Sikorsky, the manufacturing floor and get introduced to 2 different merit badges. Registration and payment, along with merit badge choices must be completed before August 1, 2014.
